Welcome to this little place that is entirely about the Haudenosaunee, also known as the Six Nations and Iroquois.
This place was first created in 2002 but was later taken down when the main site closed. Now, years later, it is being re-launched.
I created the site as a tribute to the Haudenosaunee and for a start, I have tried to describe who Haudenosaunee are. You can also find some of their legends and tales here, as they are important in order to understand who Haudenosaunee are.
While creating the site way back when, I had the great fortune to get help and guidance from some wonderful people. And I very quickly learned one thing; they generously shared their knowledge. To this day, I have never been in touch with a member of the Iroquois who were unwilling to help or share their story. I have the deepest respect for them and their history.
I have often heard the question, "what is it about the Iroquois that fascinate you?" There is no simple answer to that question; it's a combination of a lot of things. Haudenosaunee consist of so many "layers" that every time I learn something new about them, it brings along more questions.
I hope you will enjoy your visit. If you have questions, ideas, suggestions, comments - or something else, I'd love to hear from you.
